Day 1: Johannesburg

Welcome to Johannesburg where you will enjoy an overnight stay. Known as the "City of Gold," Johannesburg is South Africa's largest city and a vibrant hub of art, culture, and history.  As a city that played a pivotal role in South Africa’s past and present, Johannesburg offers insight into both its dynamic arts scene and its complex history.

Day 2: Johannesburg > Victoria Falls

Board your flight to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, renowned for its breathtaking curtain of falling water that stretches over a mile wide.

Experience the awe-inspiring majesty of Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side, where panoramic views offer a true spectacle of this natural wonder's thunderous descent.

Enjoy a luxurious three-night Scenic Special Stay at your colonial-style hotel, which offers splendid views of the gorges and mist from the falls.  

This evening, indulge in a traditional boma dinner offering local cuisine and energetic dance performances, followed by an interactive drumming experience.

Day 3: Chobe National Park

Large concentrations of big game call Chobe National Park home. Embark on a game drive along the shoreline, where predators often come to drink. Later, enjoy a cruise along the Chobe River, a vital waterway in the Chobe National Park, known for hosting one of the largest concentrations of elephants on the African continent. As you navigate the tranquil waters, keep an eye out for vast herds of elephants and buffalo quenching their thirst along the banks.

Day 4: Victoria Falls

Scenic Enrich
Visit a traditional Zimbabwean village for an authentic glimpse into the customs and daily life of local tribes, then connect with rescued elephants at a nearby sanctuary, where you'll learn their stories and the efforts behind their care and protection.

Scenic Sundowners 
Be treated to a special sunset cruise on the Zambezi River and watch the teeming wildlife on the banks, just upstream from Victoria Falls, drink in hand. 

In the evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Day 5: Victoria Falls > Nairobi

Optional Helicopter Flight - Enjoy an optional helicopter flight over Victoria Falls (additional cost, please book on tour).

Day 6: Nairobi

Visit the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you can meet rescued elephants. Explore the renowned Giraffe Centre to get up close with these graceful creatures. Enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden, a perfect spot for reflecting on the day’s encounters.

Day 7: Nairobi > Amboseli National Park

Depart for Amboseli National Park, renowned for its vast savannah landscapes and the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing volcanic mountain. Enjoy a two-night stay at your lodge, which offers spectacular views and prime wildlife viewing opportunities in this iconic setting.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park

The Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya is renowned for its majestic herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Covering 392km2, the park offers a unique and breathtaking landscape of vast open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps, and marshland. It's also home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests, which you can see on morning and afternoon game drives today.

The Amboseli National Park is also a premier location for wildlife photography and bird watching, with over 400 bird species recorded. The park's ecosystem is mainly sustained by the meltwater from Mount Kilimanjaro, feeding its swamps, which attract water birds and sustain the wildlife during dry periods.

Day 9: Amboseli National Park > Mount Kenya National Park

Fly to Wilson Airport in Nairobi and depart for your one-night Scenic Special Stay.  

Explore the Mount Kenya National Park, centred around Kenya's highest mountain. This World Heritage-listed site is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, from lush forests to alpine meadows. Home to wildlife such as elephants and leopards, and unique flora, the park is a popular destination for trekking and climbing, offering breathtaking views and diverse natural beauty. 

Scenic Freechoice:
Golf on the Equator: Play a unique round of golf on a beautifully manicured 9-hole, Par 3 course that straddles the Equator. Experience the novelty of swinging your clubs from the Northern to the Southern Hemisphere in just one game.

Ol Pejeta Game Drive: Explore the Ol Pejeta Conservation Reserve, including a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Here, established by the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Jane Goodall Institute, you can learn about and observe rescued chimpanzees in a carefully managed natural environment.

Day 10: Mount Kenya National Park > Samburu Game Reserve

Drive north to the Samburu Game Reserve, where you’ll enjoy lunch before setting out on an afternoon game drive.  Known for its large elephant population, this reserve offers excellent opportunities to observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat.

Day 11: Samburu Game Reserve

Begin your day with breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive through the unique dry-country landscapes of Samburu. This reserve is renowned for its “Special Five” — Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx — species found almost exclusively in this region. Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch, then head out again in the afternoon for another game drive to further explore the reserve’s rich wildlife. As evening falls, return to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 12: Samburu Game Reserve > Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Journey to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to a significant population of eastern black rhinos. 
You’ll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive to explore the diverse wildlife of the area.

Day 13: Ol Pejeta Conservancy > Lake Nakuru National Park

This afternoon, arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for being home to over 300 bird species. It's also an exceptional sanctuary for endangered black and white rhinos. Day 14: Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 15: Lake Nakuru National Park > Masai Mara Game Reserve

Arrive at the renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous for its ‘Big Five’: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. This reserve is also home to the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains. Settle in for a three-night stay and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding wilderness.

Day 16: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Day 18: Masai Mara Game Reserve > Nairobi

Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home-bound flight, bringing home memories to last a lifetime.
