Then, set out on a guided tour of Oʻahu's most iconic landmarks. Visit historic Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial and Museum, pay your respects at the Punchbowl National Cemetery, explore the vibrant streets of Chinatown, and pass by the Hawaiʻi State Capitol, the only royal palace in the United States—ʻIolani Palace—and the legendary King Kamehameha the Great statue. Cruise over to the USS Arizona Memorial and pay your respects to the 1,177 crewmen who were killed here on December 7, 1941. To this day, over 900 crewmen are entombed in the ship’s wreckage 40 feet below the water. Visit the museum to learn about the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Japanese military strategy, and the individuals involved in the events of December 7, 1941. Day 3: HONOLULU
Polynesian Pleasures Today is free to relax, swim, enjoy water sports, walk on the beach, or consider an optional excursion to explore beyond the resort. Day 5: KONA. EXCURSION TO HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
The Living Earth Start your morning at Kona Coffee Living History Farm for an immersive look at local coffee culture and hands-on demonstrations of traditional farming and roasting. Continue to Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site where landscapes shift from arid desert to lush tropical rainforest. Explore the sacred volcanic terrain of Mauna Loa and Kīlauea—two of the planet’s most active and accessible volcanoes—and behold the summit region of Kīlauea, rising approximately 4,090 feet above sea level amid a dramatic landscape of steaming vents, lava tubes, and verdant fern forests. Magical Maui A morning flight takes you to the Valley Island of Maui. Drive to the lush ʻĪao Valley to see the ʻĪao Needle, a spectacular volcanic spire. Continue to Kāʻanapali, your home for the next three nights. The balance of the day is at leisure.
