Day 1: HONOLULU
Aloha—welcome to Hawaii! Your Tour Director is available from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to answer any questions.Once settled, perhaps take a stroll along nearby Waikiki Beach or relax by the pool as you begin your Hawaiian adventure.
Day 2: HONOLULU. EXCURSION TO THE USS ARIZONA MEMORIAL
Begin the day with an orientation meeting with your Tour Director before setting out on a sightseeing excursion of Honolulu. Visit Pearl Harbor, including views of the sunken USS Arizona and its memorial honoring those who lost their lives during the attack. Continue to Punchbowl National Cemetery, set within an extinct volcanic crater and known for its panoramic views of Honolulu. As part of the Globus family of brands Lighthouse Project, this historic site reflects our commitment to supporting the people and places we visit. Additional sightseeing today includes historic ‘Iolani Palace and the statue of King Kamehameha the Great.
Day 3: HONOLULU
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure. Your Tour Director will have suggestions for sightseeing, shopping, dining, and activities near world-famous Waikiki Beach. Perhaps join an optional excursion to the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu’s North Shore. The experience includes dinner and the spectacular Ha: Breath of Life stage show, featuring traditional Polynesian music, dance, and fire performances.
Day 4: HONOLULU–HILO–HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK–KONA
This morning, fly to Hawaii Island, known as the “Big Island,” where dramatic landscapes range from tropical rainforests and bamboo groves to volcanic deserts and rugged coastlines. Upon arrival, visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home to some of the world’s most active volcanoes. See Kilauea Crater, rising 4,090 feet above a landscape shaped by volcanic activity, including lava fields, steam vents, and native forests. Continue to Kona on the island’s sunny western coast, arriving in the early evening.
Day 5: KONA
Today is yours to relax and explore Kailua-Kona, located between Kailua Bay and Hualālai, one of Hawaii Island’s five volcanoes. Discover local landmarks such as Hulihe’e Palace, once a vacation retreat for Hawaiian royalty, and Ahu’ena Heiau, a restored temple associated with King Kamehameha the Great. Kailua-Kona is also famous for its world-renowned Kona coffee. You may choose to join an optional snorkeling cruise to explore vibrant coral reefs and tropical marine life or an optional excursion along the scenic Kohala Coast featuring waterfalls and stories of ancient Hawaiian culture. This evening, enjoy free time to explore Kailua-Kona’s restaurants, shops, and waterfront.
Day 6: KONA–WAIMEA CANYON–KAUAI
This morning, fly to the “Garden Isle” of Kauai, known for lush landscapes and dramatic scenery. Travel along the island’s southern coast past Poipu Beach to Waimea, once an important center of Hawaiian life and the site where Captain James Cook first landed in Hawaii in 1778. Continue to Waimea Canyon, often called the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” Stretching 10 miles long, one mile wide, and more than 3,500 feet deep, the canyon is renowned for its colorful rock formations and sweeping vistas. Additional sightseeing includes the fertile Hanapēpē Valley and a stop at Spouting Horn, a natural blowhole where ocean waves create dramatic bursts of water along the shoreline.
Day 7: KAUAI
Today is free for you to enjoy the natural beauty of Kauai. Relax at the beach or hotel pool, explore Kauai on your own, or ask your Tour Director for recommendations on sightseeing and local attractions.You may choose to join an optional helicopter flightseeing excursion for a bird’s-eye view of Kauai’s dramatic landscapes, including lush valleys, waterfalls, and remote areas inaccessible by road.
Day 8: KAUAI–’IAO VALLEY–MAUI
This morning, fly to Maui, known as the “Valley Isle." Travel between the West Maui Mountains and Haleakalā, the island’s massive shield volcano. Visit Iao Valley, a stunning landscape that Mark Twain called the "Yosemite of the Pacific" to view the iconic Iao Needle. Continue past Maalaea Harbor with views of the neighboring islands of Kahoolawe, Lanai, and Molokai before arriving in the Kaanapali Beach resort area.
Day 9: MAUI
Enjoy a full day at leisure on Maui. Relax on the beach, unwind by the hotel pool, or explore the island - your Tour Director can offer suggestions.Just a short walk from the hotel, Whalers Village offers shopping, art galleries, and oceanfront dining. You may also ride the complimentary Kaanapali Trolley and explore this resort area before taking in Maui’s spectacular sunset views. Or join an optional excursion along the famous Road to Hana, renowned for its winding coastline, waterfalls, lush tropical scenery, and numerous bridges.
Day 10: MAUI
Enjoy another free day in Maui! Your Tour Director will have suggestions for activities, like sailing on a catamaran to view abundant marine life on an optional Premium Snorkel Cruise or setting out to sea for the thrill of trade wind sailing on an optional Sunset Sail.
Day 11: MAUI
Your vacation ends this morning. You may choose to extend your vacation with extra nights and continue exploring the Valley Isle.
