Day 1: Panama City, Panama

Welcome to Panama City. This cosmopolitan metropolis is a captivating blend of old and new, where gleaming skyscrapers stand alongside 17th-century churches and beautifully preserved colonial buildings in the historic Casco Viejo district, a World Heritage-listed site.Be warmly greeted by your crew as you arrive at your ultra-luxury Scenic Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse. Enjoy a glass of Champagne, meet your butler and get familiar with your spacious suite, admiring the city from your private verandah.

Day 2: Darién National Park, Playa del Muerto, Panama

Uncover World Heritage-listed Darién National Park, one of the most important heritage sites in central America. A natural bridge spanning the two Americas, it houses a myriad of habitats, ranging from rocky coastlines to sandy beaches and mangroves. A plethora of wildlife awaits as even endangered species of Night Monkey, Spotted Paca and Guatemalan Black Howler call these tropical forests home. Darién National Park is among the largest protected areas where indigenous communities still inhabit the landscape.Later, return to Scenic Eclipse to unwind with sundowners at the Sky Bar, where the day's discoveries settle into conversation and the evening begins to unfold.

Day 3: Utría National Natural Park, Ensenada de Utría, Colombia

Utría National Natural Park, nestled along Colombia's Pacific coast, is a true hidden gem. This lush, mountainous rainforest, one of the wettest places on Earth, boasts an incredible four distinct ecosystems. Dominated by dense rainforest, the park also features expansive mangroves lining its coastline. It teems with biodiversity, sheltering a vast array of flora and fauna, including more than 500 bird species.

After a day immersed in this ecological wonder, return on board for dinner at Elements, where Italian, steak, and seafood specialities await.

Day 4: At Sea

After a restorative night of rest on your Scenic Slumber Bed, the day is yours to spend as you wish. Perhaps ask your butler for breakfast in bed or enjoy a quiet morning on your private verandah.

Settle into the rhythm of life on board, explore the bow-positioned Observation Lounge with its Swarovski telescopes, relax in the Scenic Lounge Bar, venture to the Sky Deck or indulge in the 550sqm Senses Spa# reinvigorating your mind, body and soul. Throughout the day, the theatre comes alive with captivating lectures from your Discovery Team.

Later, choose from up to 10 culinary experiences; enjoy lunch at Azure Bar & Café, and for dinner, perhaps indulge in Asian cuisine at Koko’s Asian Fusion.

Day 5: Manta, Ecuador

Manta’s dynamic waterfront greets you with its emblematic tuna monument, a reminder of the city’s role as one of Ecuador’s most important fishing ports and a global centre for tuna. Its story reaches back to pre-Columbian times, when the indigenous Manteño people, renowned for their sophisticated seafaring and coastal trade networks, inhabited this shore. Just a short walk from the port, the town centre hums with local life, from open-air cafés to colourful stalls. Here you can browse markets where so-called Panama hats – traditionally handwoven in Ecuador – sit alongside finely worked silver jewellery and contemporary clothing boutiques, offering a glimpse into the region’s enduring artisanal traditions.

Back on board, visit the open bridge on Deck 7 to meet the Captain and navigational team and gain first-hand insight into a Scenic Discovery Yacht’s state-of-the-art technology from one of the most inspiring vantage points on board.

Day 6: At Sea

Let the morning unfold at its own easy pace, with the horizon just beyond your verandah and the soft hush of open water all around. You might begin with breakfast in your suite or a quiet visit to the Yacht Club, where unhurried service and sea views set a relaxed tone for the day.

As the hours pass, explore different spaces on board, a calm lounge, a favourite spot on deck, or a wellness area in the 550sqm Senses Spa#, designed for quiet restoration.

In the theatre, members of the Discovery Team offer considered perspectives on the natural and cultural worlds you are sailing towards, should you wish to deepen your understanding.

Later, the atmosphere shifts gently towards evening as you pause for an apéritif at the spacious Scenic Lounge Bar and choose where to dine, allowing your Scenic Discovery Yacht’s culinary talents to frame another refined night at sea.

Day 7: Salaverry, Peru

Salaverry is a cultural treasure of Peru, home to the ancient wonders of the Chimú and Mochica civilisations. Step back in time at Chan Chan, the largest adobe citadel in pre-Columbian America and a World Heritage-listed site.

The impressive Moche pyramids are adorned with vibrant mythological frescoes that bring the ancient history to life. An unforgettable journey into Peru’s rich cultural heritage awaits.

Following a day of cultural immersion, retreat to Scenic Eclipse for an evening of fine French dining at Lumière+, where Champagne and exquisite cuisine provide a fitting close to the day.

Day 8: At Sea

On your day at sea, take some time to relax and connect with fellow guests you’ve come to know on your journey. Ask your personal butler to deliver your morning coffee, then perhaps head out for a gym session in the state-of-the art POWER: Gym.

Later, unwind with a holistic treatment at the Senses Spa#, where KLAFS infrared saunas, the Vitality pool and tranquil relaxation lounges create a sanctuary of calm. Throughout the day, the theatre comes alive with captivating lectures from your Discovery Team.

Day 9: Paracas, Peru

Welcome to Paracas, a delightful coastal town featuring a beautiful bay, fascinating pre-Inca heritage, and a National Reservation an exceptional spot for birdwatching.

Paracas is a town on Peru’s west coast. It’s known for its idyllic beaches, rich heritage, and an abundance of wildlife, so much so that Paracas Peninsula has been declared a national reserve spanning desert, ocean, and islands. This town is a launch point for the uninhabited Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, pelicans and Humboldt penguins.

As evening approaches, return to your suite for in-suite dining, or join fellow guests at the Observation Lounge, where expansive views and thoughtful conversation complete the day.

Day 10: At Sea

After visiting Paracas, enjoy a relaxing day curling up with a book in the Observation Lounge library, or heading to the Sky Bar and the outdoor Vitality pool on Deck 10.

For relaxation and wellbeing at sea, the indulgent Senses Spa awaits on Deck 6. Inside this luxurious retreat you can be pampered with a range of holistic ESPA treatments#, including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Perhaps join a yoga or Pilates session in the PURE: Yoga & Pilates Studio.

Later this evening, savour Asian fusion specialities at Koko's, where the Sushi & Saké Bar offers an intimate dining experience.

Day 11: At Sea

This might be the day to sleep in and enjoy the tranquillity of your verandah suite, sinking into your signature Scenic Slumber Bed and choosing your perfect pillow from the curated pillow menu for ultimate comfort. You might begin gently, with a fitness or stretching class in the PURE: Yoga & Pilates Studio, before soothing tired muscles in the KLAFS infrared sauna. Reward your active start by calling your butler to serve breakfast in-suite, then later gather with new friends for a relaxed lunch at the Yacht Club, where views of the horizon frame every bite.

Alternatively, enjoy lectures from your expert Discovery Team in the state-of-the-art theatre or look for the region's unique wildlife using your in-suite binoculars or the Swarovski telescopes in the Observation Lounge.

Day 12: At Sea

Today is your final full day at sea, so perhaps take some time to soak up the final indulgences of Scenic Eclipse. Enjoy a dip in the Vitality pool and relax in one of the shaded cabanas. Enjoy a nightcap in one of the nine bars and lounges, perhaps the Scenic Lounge Bar with its collection of over 130 whiskeys, or the Sky Bar as the sun sets, and arrange for your butler to deliver you coffee in your suite the next morning.

Day 13: Pingüino de Humboldt National Reserve, Chile

Freshly squeezed juice, steaming barista-made coffee or tea delivered to your door by your butler will help you start your day just the way you like it. As your Scenic Discovery Yacht sails toward the Pingüino de Humboldt National Reserve, get ready to experience the reserve’s stunning natural beauty and diverse wildlife.

Covering 859.3 hectares (1,890 acres), this remarkable natural heritage site boasts a rich and diverse ecosystem with unique features. It is home to an impressive variety of bird species. Wildlife enthusiasts might have the chance to spot fascinating creatures like the Humboldt Penguin and the common bottlenose dolphin in their natural environment.

This evening, settle into the heart of Scenic Eclipse’s social life at the Scenic Lounge Bar, where live music, engaging conversations and a sophisticated ambience create the perfect backdrop to reflect on the day’s discoveries.

Day 14: Valparaiso, Chile

The World Heritage-listed city of Valparaíso welcomes travellers with its long and colourful history dating back to the Conquistadors. This vibrant city is rich in theatre, music, performance, street art and exquisite Victorian architecture. You will find every colour of the rainbow in this vibrant city’s streets, staircases, alleyways and buildings.

Savour one last indulgent breakfast on board your Scenic Discovery Yacht, reflecting on the extraordinary landscapes, cultural treasures, and unforgettable moments of your voyage. As you bid farewell to the crew and new friends you have made along the way, carry with you memories of this remarkable adventure.
